Challenges in Filming Blog Post

Our challenges to film were getting everyone together on one day. We still have this challenge currently. Another challenge would be getting the right props and location to film. We had issues finding the props and a certain location to film by not disrupting others. By handling these challenges we all agreed on a time that worked for everyone that was early in the morning.  We all brought props of our own that contributed to the film. We also tried not to be loud and disruptive since we are filming in someone's house. Everyone is pulling their own weight Barbara is letting us film in her house, Kyle is bring the mask and props, Makayla is filming on her phone and Bianca is helping with acting and editing.

Filming Blog Post

Our first day filming was chaotic. We all needed to get our props and decoration. We only filmed the beginning of the film. This weekend we will be finishing the film scenes and next will be editing.  We plan on finishing the film by next week with the edits and sounds.  .  The sound was clear but we could use microphones to project our voice. The video was the clearest we could get on an Iphone. We need a few reshoots with better emotion and acting but overall is went good.

Representation Blog Post

Is it fair, stereotypical?   I think our story is fair. All the characters get a different role where they can interpret it creatively in their own way. How are you challenging representation with your film?   Representation would be high school friend group. Each person is a different ethnicity, with different features. This represents teenagers being teenagers having fun and going through a scary experience together. Do you feel you need to make any edits to improve your characters? If so, what changes? No, I do not feel I need to make any edits to improve the characters. They are unique in their own ways.
