  here is our finished project Producers: Bianca, Kyle, Barbara and Makayla

   Now that the project is complete, I feel very accomplished that we were able to complete and finish the project despite out busy schedules. It strengthen our friendship by hanging out with one another and I'm glad we all did it together. We all got closer and had a good time making editing filming the project.

We did lots of changes from the original storyboard to our final product. We added a green screen news, Dwayne injuring his hand, and running to hide in the shower instead of under the bed. We made these changes due to the environment we were in, we weren’t able to go under a bed nor climb up stairs to run. We added sound effects and fade from one scene to another to add emotion and feelings to the story.

  We spent about 3 hours for editing which was spread out between multiple days.  Makayla Kyle Bianca and Barbara were involved in editing. They each picked out sound effects and  We have added in a greenscreen effect and lots of sound effects to enhance the mood. The greenscreen shows the news and informs the viewer what is going on.

The use of lighting we used dark lighting when filming. We made the lights slowly turn off and then back to indicate there is something happening a scary  feeling. We mainly used lighting in filming but a few time in editing.

Group Dynamics have been going well, we have each been using our ideas when it comes to editing and when it came to filming the scenes. Makayla has been editing and Bianca Kyle and Barbara have been helping by which ideas would be helpful and make the movie come to life. Each person had to film using the camera. What we most felt challenged was getting everyone together and decide on a topic. Each person has so many idea to share so it was hard to fit all of them in.

 When editing, Makayla put the scenes together, Barbra and Bianca helped decided on music and sound effects and Kyle found music to put in the film. The editing software we used were imovie, and capcut. In terms of dialectic and non diegetic we used dialogue and sound effects that comes from the story that was created during filming. In non-diegetic sound we used music and sound motifs these do not have a source on the screen.

  We used effects like heartbeat, scratches, footsteps to enhance the mood in the film. The transitions/ cuts that we used were fade in/out, dissolve, cut in, jump cut, and cross cutting. When editing we had a problem finding a program that has different features that we could easily use. We had to use imovie and capcut to put all the scenes together and add overlays. Our solution was to use two programs and then import from one program to another to add effects, transitions and overylays.

 In our film the colors we used were black, white, lots of neutrals and yellow.  In color theory the color black means evil indication, mourning, death and mystery. Which is represented when the lights shut off. The color white means innocence and simplicity. In the beginning of the film the color hues were white nd yellow that represents friendship and simple life.  A warm hue we used was yellow. Which represents caution, and energy. When one of the the friends that were killed it had a yellow hue that shows weariness and attentions to that friend.
