Why is sound or lack of sound important to a scene in a film?
Sound is what helps sets the mood and environment in the film. Whether it be music, sound effects, noises. It what builds tension and helps create the story
Explain why it as or was not difficult to come up with sound ideas for a story that would not have visuals.
It was not difficult to come up with sound ideas when our story did not have visuals because we wrote down descriptions for each sound and recreated it on our own. It was not hard and fun to use different objects to create unique sounds.
Explain if you believe that your group was able to create a sound story that the audience would be able to understand by listening to the sounds that wee chosen why or why not?
Our group was successful in being able to create a sound story that the audience is able to understand by listening to the sounds that were chosen since we used different objects to recreate the same sound that we need. When opening and closing a theater door, we opened the door which sounds the same and walking into the theaters too.
