Initial Storyboard

How we created our film: We all have creative minds full of  lots of ideas. We all decided to combine out ideas inspired by videogames, scary stories, and movies into one. We decided to name go off our middles names in the story to make it unique. To start off the story with the 3 girls are all watching a show when the boy "Dwayne" runs ins yelling there's a killer on the loose. The story is how when the lights go off someone dies each time. There is also a traitor among our friend group who is also the one doin these killing. 1. a sketch- Makayla 2. a description  - Kyle and Barbara 3. camera angles  - Bianca 4. audio notes  - Barbara 5. transitions  - group work 6. graphics/text  - Kyle

Film Opener Mood Board

In the mood board, we are trying to convey a eerie , and misleading feeling. I chose these images because the setting is dark hues creating an ominous feel. The clothing, setting and actual people are the brightest part of the image. While the other images are the ones that really tell the story.

Final Project Idea

What is the final idea for the project?   Horror Genre We named it "The Sleepover" We decided on our project to be a scary sleepover. Where one of us each disappears by a ghost-like entity each time the lights go off. After someone goes missing, they teenagers decided to explore what's happened everyone is panicked when someone is killed. The killer is walking around to find them and the jump scares scene ends. Leaving the audience intrigued wanting to watch the actual film.  Were excited to work together and make this project. It looks like fun filming and editing clips to create story. With different props, emotions, and actions we would all do well in creating each scene. Were worried about where we are going to film the project and if we are gonna have the applications to edit and produce it.

Movie Opener Brainstorm and Research

Rise: Observations: boy practicing soccer alone in the field. Coach or scouter watchin him work hard and practice. They use establishing shots, over the shoulder, extreme close up, and wide shots to capture the film. When it comes to camera movement they use zooms, dolly, and focus pull/ back focus. These observations helps us brainstorm our camera movement and shots we should use when filming. Dear Lover: Observations: Opening scene showing credits. Girl sitting at the lake alone and sad, girlfriend comes sit next to her.  he shots used were, over the shoulder, overhead, and a two person shot. There was also  a voice over and music playing in the background. These helps us pick out which music we should pick for our theme. Dare to thrill: Observations: Group of kids laughing while walking. They all get in the car with the keys and start driving away. n Upbeat and fun music. At the end in the truck they see something that scars them. This helps us create our film opener since ...
